CMSN is committed to bringing audiences the finest performances of an extraordinary body of repertoire, dating as far back as the Renaissance and continuing through the centuries to the greatest works of our time. In our commitment to building chamber music repertoire, CMS has performed works by famous Western and African classical composers across different styles of music. After watching the opening performance of the Allegro for four string quartet by Johannes Van Bree in one of the festivals at the SICMF, we decided to bring it to our stage and more beautiful works (string quartets, piano trio, wind ensembles). We have given a jazz concert to the community by inviting musicians who are jazz musicians and collaborating our classically trained musicians with them.
